Course

Swim Course

The swim is a 750 meter loop that takes place on Prairie Creek Reservoir. Olympic distance athletes will complete the loop twice.  Elite athletes for the olympic and sprint tri’s will go off first in an elite wave.  Following the elites will be the age group athletes in a time trial format.   After completing the first loop, olympic athletes will run along the beach and enter the water at the swim start entrance to complete the second loop. For the sprint race there will be a turn off in the loop for the 400 yard distance.

Bike Course

The bike course is a 20k loop around the reservoir.  Athletes will head north out of transition to begin the loop.  It features plenty of rolling hills which make for a fast but challenging course.  There are only 5 turns: 4 left & 1 right.  Security will be at every turn and at each main crossroad.  Watch the course video below:

Run Course

Athletes will head south out of transition to begin the run course.  It is an out and back run with plenty of non-stop rolling hills for your liking!  There will be aid stations at miles 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 4.5, & 5.  Each aid station is equipped with water, Gatorade and plenty of volunteers.
