In 2012; Muncie Multi-Sport will host 4 Oly Duathlon distance races; 10k/41.2k/5k in Muncie; May 12, June 9, Aug. 11 and Sept. 1 and Sprint Duathlons at all our Multi-Sport events.
Muncie Multi-Sport has been proud to associate with the International Powerman Association in 2010 and 2011 and enjoyed hosting professional Duathletes and Age Groupers from across American and the World including hosting the USA Triathlon MidEast Regional Duathlon Championships both years.
However; in 2012 Muncie Multi-Sport will not host a Powerman Duathlon event due to the date requirements in October; weather considerations during the last two years and the sheer lower than anticipated Duathlete attendance in the first two years.” States Steven N. Tomboni; CEO, Muncie Multi-Sport.

9.21.11- Scott Werts Memorial
Scott Werts’ ashes will be brought back home to Indiana on Sunday, October 9th. A memorial service will be held at the Wayne Township Fire Department Headquarters at 11:00am, located at 700 N High School Rd. The service will be followed by a lunch/reception at Rick’s Boathouse, 4050 Dandy Trail.

MMS will be at the Henry County YMCA in New Castle, IN this Thursday, June 30th, from 4p-6:30p promoting the July 16 Summit Lake Optimist Triathlon. Stop by and check it out! There will be course maps, race registration and all other race info you will need. Anyone who registers at the Y will receive $5 off their registration and get a special goodie bag!
